1870 (11 June) treble rate entire registered from Colombo to Glasgow, marked "via Marseilles", bearing 6d. blackish brown pairs (2) and single, 1/- reddish lilac
and 1868 1d. blue, all cancelled by slightly heavy and smudged "A" obliterator, showing "colombo/paid" c.d.s. and oval "registered/colombo" oval handstamp,
both in red, London transit d.s. (9.7) and, on reverse, clear arrival datestamp (10.7); the entire with recipient's notation across face panel. An extremely rare franking, only one other believed to exist. R.P.S. Certificate (2002) states "creases
