Malaya and States valuable mint collection on album pages, includes Strait Settlements, Malaya proper and all the various States, goes to about 1962, quite comprehensive except for the Japanese Occupation issues which are offered in a separate
lot (see lot 2296), includes some high values such as the Malaya $25.00 Elephant (slight creasing) and the Johore $5.00 Elephant (also with minor creasing), the collection is well filled throughout and is generally lacking only the rare early issues
and the expensive high value 20th Century stamps for completion, most stamps are o.g., a few small faults but overall fine-very fine; an especially worthwhile collection of this popular area. |
