Malaya - Japanese Occupation extensive mint collection of over 350 different stamps on album pages, with representation from all the States including the general Strait Settlements issues, most of the value in the handstamped "chops", which
were collected by the different colored handstamps as listed in Stanley Gibbons, plus there are the later overprinted issues, we note many cataloging in the £100-£400 range, with a few even higher, o.g. and mostly fine-very fine, as always
with a collection this size, there may be some forged overprints included, but these stamps were purchased from largely reliable sources (seven BPA certificates accompany); with everything counted the Stanley Gibbons catalog value will surely be in
excess of £20.000. |
