There are only seven recorded examples of the 2c Black on yellow Frazer & Co. local. 1) An original gum single ex-Caspary. 2) A used single with pen and red Cincinnati c.d.s. ex-Hall. 3) An uncancelled stamp on 30 December, 1848 cover ex-Schenck, Richardson and Golden, but believed not to have originated on the cover. 4) Pen cancelled and affixed to cover upon which it did not originate, ex-Caspary. 5) A 3 November 1848 to the mails usage with 10c 1847 to New York, ex-Matthies and Meyersburg. 6) An undated Valentine cover to George Burgess, ex.-Kuphal, and 7) The cover offered here.
