A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1857 ONE-CENT TYPE III. SCARCE WITH SUCH CHOICE CENTERING. Due to the narrow vertical spacing on this plate, stamps are most typically found with the perforations impinging on a portion of the design.
