These stamps were on sale for only one day for a trial flight between Vladivostok and Spassk. Only 25 copies of three values were sold, the others in only slightly higher quantities.
All are signed by one or more experts, incl. Lussiuk, Kessler, Field, Bloch, Dr. Jem, Rossica, etc., plus there is a 1994 Mikulski certificate for six values. Michel value as hinged (Image)

VERY FINE. A HIGHLY DESIRABLE SET OF THESE RARE AND UNDERVALUED AIR POST STAMPS. NO MORE THAN 42 SETS CAN EXIST.
This set was issued for the proposed 1941 first flight from Liberia to the United States. It was postponed due to World War II. Most of the issued stock was used on the later flight. Unused copies are especially rare. According to Sanabria, only 42 of the 50c on 3c and 43 each of the 50c on 1c and 50c on 2c were issued.
