Mar. 12" (ca. 1864-65) circular datestamp on cover to Paterson N.J. EXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF THE FINEST OF THE FEW TIED EXAMPLES OF THE WESTERVELT POST 1864 INDIAN HEAD ISSUE ON COVER. We are aware of at least four covers with this Westervelt Post stamp tied by a handstamp.
